Based on the official minutes of the Handover Committee, the final partial phase of the Al-Zawraa Sports Complex project was completed on July 31, 2025, in the presence of representatives from the Handover Committee, the Client, and the Contractor. This handover included parts of the project—particularly the main stadium field—which were officially delivered to the Client after the end of the maintenance period and the completion of necessary repairs.
During the meeting, the amount allocated for addressing deficiencies and issues identified during the maintenance period was temporarily withheld. It was agreed that the final handover of the entire project would take place after the complete resolution of these matters. This event marks an important step towards the full completion and operation of the Al-Zawraa Stadium.
